Very disappointing experience with this real estate agent....

Very disappointing experience with this real estate agent. Extremely rude attitude and made an unnecessary comment saying, “Who sees 15 flats for rent? People don’t see this many even while buying.” Such remarks are unprofessional and disrespectful to clients who are trying to make an important housing decision. Renting a home is also a major decision, and clients have every right to explore options before choosing. The only positive part of the experience was Deepak, who patiently and professionally showed all the flats without any attitude. He was courteous and helpful throughout. Because of the rude and unprofessional behaviour from the agent, I cannot recommend this service. ---- Please note that before making baseless allegations, the full facts should be considered. We spent over ₹1,000 on cabs just to visit flats, including one trip where Deepak accompanied us (Uber receipt attached). Deepak had only paid an auto fare of ₹140, which we ourselves offered to reimburse him. Since the deal did not happen, that amount was also returned (screenshot attached). We did not visit flats through any other broker, nor were we doing “window shopping.” No sensible person staying in a hotel costing ₹5,000 per day would waste time casually viewing properties without genuine intent. Regarding sunlight, we never demanded sunlight in every room. We fully understand Mumbai’s practical limitations—smaller homes, limited balconies, higher rents, and compact layouts. Our only reasonable expectation was that at least one room should receive some natural light. We also did not see 22 flats as wrongly claimed. We viewed only 15 flats in a total of around seven hours. Along with your time, we also invested our own valuable time, effort, and money. Considering the brokerage amount of ₹60,000 to ₹70,000, spending seven hours to help a client finalize a rental property is not excessive. If you were unwilling to invest that time or show additional options, that should have been communicated professionally instead of making sarcastic comments like “who sees 15 flats.” At no point did I complain about brokerage charges. My budget of ₹60,000 to ₹75,000 was fair and realistic for the Malad–Goregaon market. In fact, we were close to finalizing a deal on the third day for Auris Bliss. However, after hearing your rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful remarks, I decided to cancel the deal. I also clearly conveyed the reason to Deepak. Clients deserve honesty, patience, and professional behavior—not blame shifting and unnecessary comments.
