I would never give the review or recommend this place to any one, On 17/04/2026, my friends and I visited the restaurant for dinner. After finishing our meal, we stepped outside and were waiting for a cab when one of my friends suddenly collapsed due to low blood pressure and fainted right outside your restaurant. In that moment of urgency, I approached your staff requesting a small amount of sugar to help revive her. However, I was shocked by their response—they bluntly said they do not keep sugar. What was even more surprising was that at the same time, sugar was clearly available in the mukhwas kept there. It was a matter of basic human kindness, and such a small help could have made a big difference in that situation. Unfortunately, the staff showed complete lack of empathy and humanity. This is particularly disappointing because Kalbadevi has always been a place we frequently visit for lunch and dinner. Experiencing such insensitive behavior from your team was unexpected and unacceptable. I do have a video of the incident, I will upload it soon. I will Raise a complaint too.

The food quality at Mao Restaurant is very poor. The rice is often undercooked and completely tasteless. The overall quality of the food is extremely disappointing. Even the service is not proper, and the plates and bowls do not seem properly cleaned. I would strongly advise people to avoid eating here.
