We had booked a couple package, but our experience was very disappointing. We were given a room on the 2nd floor, and the outside view was extremely dirty with a very bad smell. It was so unpleasant that we couldn’t even stand outside the room. The hotel mentioned in our booking PDF was different, but without informing us, we were directly taken to another hotel. When we checked the PDF later, we realized the hotel name was completely different. The hotel provided to us was Mont Kufri Resort, which is around 30 km away from Shimla. The hotel was still under construction. There was no lift available, and our room was given on the ground floor while we had to carry our luggage ourselves from the 5th floor area. The surroundings were very dirty and had a bad smell. The only good thing about the stay was the food, which was nice. Overall, it was not a good experience, and we were very disappointed with the arrangements.
