Built in 1800 by the North Salsette Society's local Taluka...

Built in 1800 by the North Salsette Society's local Taluka Board, this well was buried under debris and subsequent road developments, lost for years. It was rediscovered in 2018 with the efforts of local water conservationist Vincy Pareira and renovated in 2020 with the support of local corporator Tejasvee Ghosalkar. The mural sculpture depicting the culture and traditions of a typical East Indian village is designed by artists Sachin Waikar and Santosh Waikar.
