People often say choose a doctor who believes in you so deeply that you begin to believe in yourself again. For me, that doctor was Dr. Rishma Dhillon Pai. After 10 long years of marriage filled with heartbreak miscarriages, a chemical pregnancy, and countless moments of doubt hope had started to feel distant. But somewhere along this journey, things changed. Today, as I hold my two beautiful twin boys in my arms, I know that miracles do happen… with the right guidance, at the right time, and in the right hands. From the very beginning, Dr. Rishma Pai was more than just a doctor she was my strength. She didn’t just treat me; she prepared me. She walked me through every possibility of a twin pregnancy, explained every risk, and most importantly, gave me the confidence to move forward without fear. Given my health being on the heavier side at 104 kgs before pregnancy there were higher chances of complications like high blood pressure, sugar levels, or cervical concerns. But she never let anxiety take over. Instead, she would calmly say, “Your babies will be perfect. And somehow, I believed her. And she was right. My pregnancy journey, despite all odds, was smooth. No major complications. No unnecessary weight gain just about 10 kgs, exactly as she had guided. She was very particular about my diet, my routine, and my discipline no junk, no shortcuts only what was best for my babies. Even her advice that my body strength would support my babies turned out to be true. I delivered my twins just one day short of 36 weeks, and both my babies are healthy and strong. The delivery, the surgery, the recovery everything was seamless. But what truly sets her apart is her attention to detail. She is a perfectionist in the truest sense. Every check, every report, every step nothing was ever overlooked. She made sure that before my babies came into this world, everything was exactly as it should be. And even beyond the hospital, she was always there. Every question I had, every concern I was never alone. Her constant reassurance, even virtually, meant the world to me. Today, as a mother of twin boys, my heart is full of gratitude. Words will never be enough. She didn’t just help me become a mother she gave me my family, my happiness, my everything. I will carry this gratitude with me forever. ❤️
