We really enjoyed our time. It actually feels slow and relaxed, no rush! Food was great - we had the mushroom beetroot hummus open toast, the dips and crackers. Loved both! Especially the toast! We also had the orange cold coffee, and found it to be average. Not bad but not amazing. I would definitely go again for the food and the vibe though :)

Slow cafe - I had to visit here as it is owned by none other Viraj Ghelani - famous content creator & stand up comedian. Set in a spacious, two-story bungalow in the Mahavir Nagar area, the cafe features warm lighting, minimal and earthy interiors, and a welcoming, pet-friendly environment. The vegetarian menu focuses on wholesome comfort food, artisan coffees (including signature jaggery and salted caramel hot chocolate), and vegan options. I tried: - Iced latte- My all time favourite- it was perfect in taste - Avocado toast- Classic open toast made by mashing ripe avocado over toasted bread and seasoned with salt & pepper - Roasted pepperoso spaghetti- Creamy red pepper & pumpkin spaghetti cooked to its perfection It is an aesthetic cafe indeed with great service and amazing food. Must visit if you are in Mumbai.

TLDR: Good ambience, (at best) average Food, terrible beverages. Overpriced disappointment! We were genuinely excited to visit the place and had already returned twice because of the waiting earlier but God were we disappointed! Biggest let down was the signature cold chocolate which was just a sugary syrup and a disgrace to be called 55% dark chocolate. It tasted like drinking sweet flour (probably to make it thicker). Felt so bad about the extra calories and 400 bucks going down the drain for this whereas a small sachet of Tiggle does a WAYYY better job at home. I even requested the server if I could get a stronger version of chocolate by tweaking it after having just one sip but he refused by saying that the jaggery/palm sugar already comes mixed with the chocolate so there's nothing they can do about it. The burrito bowl was average, not bad but nothing I'd go again for. And the nachos were a bit stale, so much for "fresh and from scratch" ingredients. The broccoli and cottage cheese burger didn't feel like it had any cottage cheese but rather just broccoli and mushed potatoes. The hand cut fries that came with it were too salty, oily and soggy. Lastly, the spiced orange cream iced latte only sounded fancy and had cream chunks instead of a well frothed foam on top. The only good parts were that the ambience has been tastefully decorated and the service is quick.
Visited Slow in Kandivli recently with my cousin sister,...
Visited Slow in Kandivli recently with my cousin sister, and honestly, while the food and coffee were good, the overall experience and service left us extremely uncomfortable. When we entered, there were multiple empty 4-seater tables available (which remained empty throughout most of our visit), yet we were seated at their “community table” which is essentially a tiny circular table against the wall that is genuinely not practical for two people ordering food and drinks. One of the waiters later moved us to a proper table after realizing the issue, but shortly after, someone managing the cafe asked the waiter to move us back to the tiny community table again. We even mentioned that it would be difficult to comfortably eat there once food arrived, but were told “it will be fine.” Unfortunately, it really wasn’t. Things kept falling while we were eating because there simply wasn’t enough space. We had to move the cutlery setup ourselves just to make room for the plates and drinks. Nobody checked in or offered any solution despite clearly seeing the inconvenience. What honestly made the experience worse was noticing another individual sitting alone with camera equipment/content setup being comfortably given a larger table while we, as paying customers ordering food and coffee, were repeatedly denied one despite tables remaining vacant throughout our meal. If the cafe had been full, this would’ve been understandable. But it wasn’t. The food itself was genuinely good and reasonably priced, which makes this more disappointing because the experience could have been great with just basic consideration and hospitality. Also adding a service charge after this experience honestly felt a little absurd. I hope the cafe improves how they treat regular customers moving forward because good food alone isn’t enough to make people return.

Visited SLOW Cafe and honestly the food was almost perfect… almost 😭 Ordered: • Cheese garlic bread — okayish • Hummus & mushroom toastie — absolutely amazing • Latte — perfect balance • House cold coffee — too good • Mango tiramisu — stole the whole show 🥭✨ Everything apart from the garlic bread was next level 🤌 Only thing missing? Viraj 😭 If I had gotten to meet the owner, the experience would have been completely complete 😂
