This was my third stay at Astha bunglow no. 4. The pillows in my room were dirty and looked old. The sofa inthe room was dirty with black stains.Additionally there were lot of mosquitoes in my room which made it uncomfortable for me to stay. I had booked the room again for my stay after 15 days. And had asked the booking incharge to ensure room to be clean. Upon my arrival the caretaker questioned me why I had complained. I had just expressed my concerns about cleanliness before hand. Also I would like to report an issue with my recent stay. There was a rat in my room which was unacceptable. When I brought to the caretakers attention, instead of taking action he seemed dismissive and shared a personal anecdote about being bitten by rat himself. I found very unprofessional and unhelpful. When I brought it to the managers attention I expected more serious response but instead they laughed it off.(caretaker n Manager) Also I would like to mention the Manager would come to my room previous night to take oder for breakfast the next morning. Despite confirming, I experienced discrepancies. However if I ordered for tea I would receive coffee instead. Also I had requested no sugar, I would get with sugar. Whenever I would request for specific time I got half an hour late. Also I had trouble getting my room cleaned during my stay. Whenever I asked the caretaker to clean my room, he would give excuses, either he will do it later or couldn't clean after a certain time.(since he already had bath). During my stay there was heavy rainfall and water started leaking from the ceiling of the room, which made the space uncomfortable. Although I had booked again after my check out, I decided not to stay again due to poor experience I had during my stay.
