Awesome experience. Yummy food with best company of your lovely friends. Food was yummy. To start with we ordered Masala Papad. Chicken Platter for Starters - chicken reshmi and malai kebab nice and juicy, chicken seekh kebab and chicken tikka was yum too. The special recommended starter of our friend's daughter the "Bombil Sandwich" was a hit. Main course - Fish Surmai Tawa Thali, Fish Pomfret Tawa Thali and Mutton Thali all delicious. The size of Pomfret and Surmai was huge. Finished our yummilicious lunch gulping down with Solkadi and Lemon Soda.

The OG Bandra Seafood place... Jai Hind Pali. Choose from a variety of thalis - or if you're in a large group sample everything! From prawn curry and rice to chicken sukke with neer dosa and tisre, surmai, crab, bangda, bombil... you'll find it hard to go wrong at Jai Hind. Even the accompaniments hut the spot - rice papads, solkadi, techha, jawla... Friendly and efficient wait staff. A bit small / cramped but worth going and getting your fish straight out of the pan - by the time it's delivered home it doesn't taste quite the same!

This is my absolute go-to place for Konkan style seafood. Every time I have been, it's delicious, and I have been lots. Good value for money and the food is always perfectly cooked. My favourites are Bombil sandwich ( heavenly), bombil fry, ambotik curry, green masala curry (Herrvi?), sukka tisrya, and the list goes on. I usually combine with palak Khichdi, which is also devine. Neer dosa , chapati, and finish with a classic caramel custard dessert. Tiny little restaurant, but seriously, some of the best seafood in Mumbai.

Probably the smallest dine in restaurant possible. Just 12 seats. That too such tight sitting. But the brand power and food quality pulls customers. Great food, bombil fry being at its best. Prawns were tasty but limp. Fish pulimunchi was terrible. Meet dosas were terrible.
