Dr. Pawan Mittal is my Mentor under whose guidance I am doing my Counselling of Child and Adolescent course from NHCA, Singapore. Dr Mittal's surge of compelling expressions during his ZOOM lecture on 4.4.2022, on his 'Float to Fly' project was an epiphany moment for me. He has the capability to alchemise his raw, uncoated experiences related to the GIFTED CHILDREN ( children with Autism Spectrum Disorder addressed by him thus) into strong, solid views which have the power to transmute the conservative paradigm of our society against these ' Gifted Souls' to give birth to a New Normal, if only our hearts and mind were tuned to a receptive frequency towards his viewpoints. We are thankful to him to come forward and address this profoundly relevant subject which would help all to purge the doubts and negativities, liberate our souls and accept and embrace our ' Gifted Children' lovingly in the mainstream society. Thank you.

We often take kids and their behaviour for granted. Their minute actions and their subtle gestures speak volumes only if we know how to analyse them. Yesterday was a surefire eye opener to most of us who attended the session " Float to Fly" presented by Mrs. Kartikeyan with invaluable inputs by Dr Pawan Mittal. While being engaging and focussing on the hard hitting realities surrounding special children and conditions such as Autism, the session also cleared a lot of misconceptions about the same. Without mincing words Dr Mittal put forward the fact that the larger population needs to support and cater to the needs of these gifted children and channelise them in such a way that they get pulled into the main stream with a smooth and effortless transition. It is imperative for the care givers and family to stand in complete support of these specially gifted kids and raise our voice against any members of the school authority, who give scant regard for the extra care needed to bring them up. After the amazingly wonderful "Float to Fly" session, we are now determined to confront the teachers who label such kids and create a stigma on them. We are truly grateful to Dr Mittal and Mrs. Karthikeyan for liberally sharing their vast treasure chest of knowledge and bringing a lot of clarity on a complex subject such as Autism. Looking forward to putting this into practice and gaining more insights along our journey.

NHCA Singapore has been a blessing in my life. Knowledge acquired at the right place from the right person is a wonder. Dr. Pawan Mittal and all the mentors teach the students in the most effective and interesting way. The session on Autism was an eye opening one. Calling the so called special children as GIFTED Children _ the valuable lesson that I learnt yesterday. We must encourage them by saying that you are not special but you are more!!!! A profound lesson for a lifetime. The overall learning about Autism was handled in a very detailed manner. Thank you Dr. Mittal and Mrs.Karthikeyini for the valuable session on Autism. Truly blessed to be a part of NHCA Singapore.

The Class on Autism conducted by Mrs Karthikeyni and Dr Pawan Mittal was very insightful. Being a teacher and spending almost a decade with Kindergartener's I feel better equipped and prepared to assist parents and gifted children. I personally feel benefitted by the topic and pray each school should conduct sessions to bring to light the subject and attention of the educators. The experiences shared and the finer details that were discussed are food for thought .🙏🙏 The session was conducted articulately. Thank You to the mentors.
