My name is Gulnar Banu. I was admitted to Shanti Hospital suffering from a persistent and painful condition involving abdominal pain, weakness, and a history of P/V bleeding. After a detailed evaluation including a CT scan, I was diagnosed with a myometrium fibroid and an umbilical hernia, alongside managing chronic conditions like DM, HTN, and Hypothyroidism. Within no time, the Shanti Hospital team started my treatment and took very good care of me. After being evaluated and found fit for surgery by the medical team, I underwent a major surgical procedure (Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with B/L Salpingectomy) on April 17th. The hospital team guided me properly through the entire process—from the preparation and anesthesia to my recovery in the ICU—which made everything feel very smooth and stress-free. In just a few days, I have recovered well and I am getting discharged. What stood out the most is that the care here feels very personal and comforting—more like home care than a typical corporate hospital. The team ensured I was vitally and hemodynamically stable, providing excellent post-operative support and clear counseling regarding my medications and recovery at home.
