The doctors may be good, but the hospital staff, especially the reception staff and nurses, are extremely rude and unprofessional. Their behavior is worse than what people usually experience even in BMC municipal hospitals. The nurses and staff behave as if they are working for free and doing a personal favor to patients instead of simply doing their job professionally. They do not even have basic manners or know how to speak respectfully with patients and their families. It feels as if patients are getting free treatment, even after paying huge amounts of money. On top of that, the attitude shown by the staff is unbelievable, as if they themselves are paying for the patient’s treatment. Before starting treatment, their main focus seems to be on whether you have mediclaim and how much coverage you have. Based on that, they appear more interested in generating bills and troubling the patient’s family rather than providing proper care. The billing and medicine system is also very poor. In emergencies, if no relative is present at the hospital, they will not even provide medicines immediately. First, you have to complete the payment process, collect the medicine yourself, and only then will they give it to the patient. The hospital management and owner should seriously look into the behavior of their staff. If this attitude continues, a time may come when people will stop visiting this hospital because of such poor and disrespectful service. Overall, a very disappointing hospital experience. I would strongly suggest people think twice before bringing their family members here during an emergency.
