Sri Krishna Restaurant is a place Iโve visited a few times over the years, and it continues to be a dependable option in the Mumbai dining scene, especially for South Indian vegetarian food. One of the standout items here, in my experience, is the Dahi Vada, which Iโve had on multiple occasions and would definitely recommend. Itโs consistently well-prepared and enjoyable. On my most recent order, I also tried the Medu Vada and Rava Masala Dosa. While the food overall was good, I wasnโt particularly impressed with the sambar that accompanied the vada. Since sambar plays a key role in the dish, this did affect the overall experience for me. The rest of the preparation, however, was satisfactory. They also offer a variety of ice creams, and the mango option we tried was quite good and made for a nice finish to the meal. Service here is excellent. The staff are attentive and helpful, with waiters proactively suggesting dishes and offering recommendations in a thoughtful, non-pushy manner and something that enhances the overall dining experience. The restaurant is purely vegetarian and has a cool, calm, comfortable ambience, making it suitable for a quiet, relaxed lunch or dinner. Overall, Sri Krishna remains a reliable and recommended spot, particularly for its strengths in select dishes and service.
