Santoshan is a small, straightforward veg spot right opposite Grant Road West station. Seating is compact and tables are often shared. It’s more of a quick, practical eating place for office-goers and students rather than a dine-out family restaurant. The food is where it stands out. The dosa is consistently well made. It's crisp, not overly oily, and served with good chutney and sambar. The Medu Vada (vada sambar) is also very good, crisp outside and soft inside. The Dahi Vada is simple and nicely balanced. There’s minimal ambience, but if you’re in the area and want a reliable, tasty South Indian meal without fuss, this place delivers.
