Surbhi Sweets and Snacks began its journey at the very beginning of this millennium. The year 2000 saw the birth of one of the most loved & best sweet shops in Mumbai. Three young and passionate food lovers, Mr. Kailash Gupta, Mr. Pradeep Jain, and Mr. Trilokchand Agarwal knew how Mumbai loves its street food. That’s how the idea of Surbhi Snacks Corner popped up. Mr. Pradeep Jain’s respected father suggested the name of the brand as Surbhi means “Fragrance”. And it is rightly said, the best way to eat food is with the sense of smell and sight first and later with taste buds.

"I had a terrible experience at this outlet and I want to warn everyone. I walked in extremely hungry and saw fresh-looking samosas on the counter. I decided to order a Samosa Pav. The person at the counter suggested I pay ₹2 extra to get it 'grilled.' I agreed, thinking it would be even better. The Scam: The moment the staff saw I had a 'Grill' coupon, he didn't pick the fresh samosas from the display. Instead, he pulled out a stale, leftover samosa from a hidden compartment underneath the counter. He quickly stuffed it into the pav and threw it on the grill before I could even react. The Result: When I took a bite, the pav was hot on the outside, but the samosa inside was ice-cold, and The filling had become sticky and smelled off. It was clearly 1 day old. I had to spit it out immediately and throw the whole thing away. It is disgusting how they use the 'grilling' process as a trick to get rid of their old, spoiled stock. They are playing with people's health just to save a few bucks. Absolutely pathetic service and quality. Avoid this place if you value your health!"

I had ordered a Schezwan samosa, and when I asked for Schezwan chutney 3–4 times, the staff member there disrespectfully refused. He said that they do not serve Schezwan chutney with this item. The person standing at the counter saw everything but didn’t respond at all or even tell the staff to give it, even though a customer was requesting it. To be honest, for a few minutes I genuinely felt like I was being treated as if I was asking for something for free. The store made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. If they wanted to charge for the chutney, they could’ve simply told me—I would’ve happily paid. But the behaviour of the staff at the counter was very disrespectful, and this was truly the worst service I have received. They clearly do not respect their customers. I have always loved this store and regularly bought sweets from here, but after this incident, I will never step foot in this place again. A customer was treated like a beggar, and even after requesting politely multiple times, I was disrespected and ignored. No customer deserves to be treated this way, and this experience has completely changed the way I see this store.
