Rootopia in Goregaon is honestly one of the prettiest rooftop restaurants I’ve visited. The ambience is beautiful, calm, and very aesthetic, perfect for a relaxed evening or a cozy dinner. The food was impressive, especially considering it’s a pure veg place. The Red Flame Paneer Tikka and Fafda Ni Chaat were full of flavour and really well done. For mains, the Amritsari Chole with Persian Naan and Bombay Chilli Rice were both comforting and satisfying. The beverages were refreshing, especially the Blueberry Smoothie and Pine Zing Pine. And the Pistachio Delight Cheesecake was a great way to end the meal, not overly sweet and nicely balanced. Overall, a great experience with good food, lovely vibes, and attentive service. Definitely a place I’d visit again and recommend to others.

Went to Rootopia Kitchen recently and the best thing about this place is honestly the evening vibe. It’s inside Nirlon Knowledge Park near Nesco, and once the sun sets the whole rooftop just feels nicer. There’s a good breeze, it’s not too loud, and you can actually sit and have a proper conversation. At one point we were just like this is such an easy place to hang out. It was our first time so we just asked them what to order and went with their recommendations. The spinach ricotta dimsums were really good, same with the mac and cheese arancini. Then we tried a mix of things like pizza, laksa, sushi and pasta and nothing really disappointed. The edamame truffle pasta was probably my favourite. We kept saying okay this is good after almost every dish. Even after ordering quite a bit, the food didn’t feel too heavy which was nice. Ended with the citrus date pudding, simple but a good finish. It’s all vegetarian, drinks are light, and overall it’s just a very comfortable place to spend a couple of hours. We actually ended up sitting longer than we planned. Definitely feels like a nice spot for a chill dinner or a date.

Very few places in the city have a rooftop set up and is completely veg. We got to know about this place and quickly made a plan to visit here during sunset and this was one of the best times we have spent in the city in a restaurant. Food here is also good and we enjoyed a lot of modern fusion dishes here. Do not miss out on their mocktails as they are absolutely amazing!
