I had a terrible and traumatic experience at Indira Pets Clinic & Care Center with my dog, who was clearly choking on a bone. Despite telling the receptionist it was an emergency, I was made to wait in the regular queue for almost two hours while my dog struggled and I was panicking. The staff showed no urgency, compassion, or basic understanding of how serious choking can be. When we were finally called in, the doctor barely examined my dog and said there was “nothing in her throat,” even though I could clearly feel something stuck. Instead of properly investigating or attempting to address the obstruction, he gave my dog three injections without clearly explaining what they were or how they would help in a choking situation. There was no effort to reassure me or to treat the case as an emergency. I was so unhappy and worried that I rushed my dog to another vet clinic. There, the vet immediately took my dog in, gave prompt attention, and administered an oral medicine that actually helped the stuck piece move down. My dog improved quickly after that, proving that something really was wrong and that the first clinic had failed to act appropriately. This was one of the worst veterinary experiences I have ever had. The lack of empathy, poor triage, and dismissive attitude at Indira Pets Clinic & Care Center put my dog at risk and caused me immense stress. I will never take my pet there again and do not recommend this clinic to anyone who expects genuine emergency care or basic professionalism for their animals.
