Mahavir Sweet and Farsan has an amazing variety of tasty savory, crunchy, or steamed snacks, many of which are freshly made on a daily or even more than daily basis. One of these is their khandvi (thin, rolled savory chickpea flour cakes), which is simply out of this world. The shop also offers an enormous variety of packaged snacks (such as gathiya, rotla, bhakari), many of which are not easily found in mainstream supermarkets. I found the staff of their Ghatkoper shop to be super helpful, trying to understand the buying instructions I had received from my partner, and considering what could and what would probably not survive the intercontinental flight which I was about to take. Prices are reasonable, and the shop I visited is conveniently located at a few minutes walk from the Ghatkoper metro station (use gate 1A).
