For the price, the food doesn’t hold up. The price is not proportional to the quality and quantity of the food. The chicken dish barely had any chicken in it, mostly bones and batter. Apparently, that’s what you get when you order this specific dish, there goes the ₹400. The food should be served hot, but I suppose not here. Tho they fixed it the damage was already done. The service was alright, nothing to complain about there. They’ve hiked the menu prices due to the recent gas issue. People go to restaurants to fill their bellies and enjoy the ambience, not pay a hefty bill and come home to roti sabji.

Very disappointing experience at Shloka Restaurant, Ghatkopar. I have been a regular customer for a long time and have even booked this restaurant multiple times for my office team dinners. But after what happened last Saturday, I would seriously not recommend this place to others. Around 8:30 PM, I visited with one colleague for dinner. There were clearly 3–4 tables vacant, yet the staff refused to give us seating just because we were only 2 people and the tables were meant for bigger groups. This is extremely insulting and disrespectful behavior towards customers. If tables are empty, denying customers only because they are two people shows poor management and zero customer value. My suggestion to others: if you are only 2 people, avoid visiting this place after 8 PM. They may simply insult you and send you back even when tables are available. A restaurant should respect every customer, not just large groups.
