Honestly, I’m not sure what the hype is all about. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend visiting if you’re expecting something extraordinary. It’s all vegetarian stalls and small side shops, with multiple vendors selling the same type of food. I tried 2-3 types of dosa from different stalls, and the taste was underwhelming. The dishes lacked a distinct flavor, and everything tasted too generic for the names they carried. Tried a few varieties of momo as well, but they were disappointing compared to better-tasting and more affordable momo I’ve had elsewhere. The only saving grace might be the gola and ice creams, which are decent enough to try once—but nothing you haven’t experienced at other places. If you’re planning a visit with family or alone, I’d suggest reconsidering. It doesn’t live up to the hype it has on social media, and the experience feels overrated.
