The girl who could barely look people in the eye, shivering...
The girl who could barely look people in the eye, shivering before speaking in class — that was me before Xavier's. And yet, I auditioned for AM Night, for Choir, for Antas, headed a department fest event, volunteered for Malhar, Antarchakshu, JanFest, attended the XIC festival, sat through every possible interview, and cracked L&T Infotech. I studied BScIT (Hons) here and graduated in 2013 — and it's been a dozen years, but Xavier's is my forever for me. Late Perrie ma'am — HOD BMM, technically not my teacher — taught us EVS, but I'd call it 'life.' Her classes, her words, her book and film recommendations sparked something in me that led me to media and to reading far beyond what I was assigned. I wrote exams for visually challenged students, taught street kids, volunteered with WSD. Xavier's quietly shaped my values and my perspective on not taking life for granted. I came back in 2024 to train BMM students. :)

I contacted the college twice for inquiries, and both times the response was quite disappointing. The staff came across as rude and unhelpful, which made the overall experience frustrating. As a prospective student, you expect basic courtesy and clear guidance, but that was lacking here. I hope the administration works on improving communication and student interaction, as first impressions matter a lot.
