I am very grateful to Sahabhaav for the love and care they provided to my father for the last 2+ years; esp. to the management team (Dr. Mini, Amee) and all the care takers. There are not enough words to describe the quality and the level of support they provided. Everyone at Sahabhaav became like an extended family for my father and he felt at home over there. He enjoyed the quality and variety of the tasty food provided and always praised it. Even his lifestyle improved with all the activities, outings, and celebrations. They encouraged everyone to participate and be active. The staff kept us informed by sharing photos and videos of various activities and events and made us feel part of the celebrations. At times, when my dad felt a little sad, the staff took special efforts to make him feel better. Sahabhaav is very well-equipped to provide immediate medical assistance like pathology tests, IV and other nursing needs. They even arranged for specialty doctors to visit on-site for consultation and treatment, including a dentist and that reduced visits to outside clinics. The in-house doctors, nurses and caretakers were always there to support him and make him feel comfortable throughout his stay. I would like to specially mention that whenever he needed to be hospitalized, Sahabhaav took care of everything from calling the ambulance, monitoring his progress, and coordinating all aspects of his care and treatment needed with the hospital staff. When he was in ICU, they provided a 24-hour caretaker and kept us informed. I would highly recommend Sahabhaav to anyone who is looking for round the clock support and care for their elderly loved ones at a home away from home.

Dear Dr Mini, Amee and team sahabhaav - My mother spent 2yr+ at S1 as a patient with dementia. While these were difficult times, the care at Sahabhaav was absolutely top class. Both in terms of empathy, attentiveness but also in terms of activities to stimulate and create a sense of community. I personally spent visits over 100days at the centre and have observed first hand the quality of the place and care. Also, love the food. Our father was diagnosed with Parkinson's and Dementia...

Our father was diagnosed with Parkinson's and Dementia around the age of 85. With advanced age & a rapid deterioration, it was a massive challenge to find a suitable assisted living caregiving environment (Vs the routine senior citizen homes) for our father who needed round-the-clock care as well as interaction with the seniors’ community. In Sahabhaav, we found a place that met both these requirements excellently. Sahabhaav has a warm, homely environment with neat upkeep and provides homecooked food with an emphasis on simple daily activities that keep the elderly engaged. There is excellent communication with the family at all times and updates of the loved ones are shared on a daily basis, through videos and text messages. Dr Panicker, Ms Amee and Ms Neelam with their dedicated team of nurses and caregivers see to the overall well- being of the residents. They even took the residents (mostly wheelchair bound) to monthly outings - to parks and malls! Festivals & even simple events like Women's day or Ram Mandir ceremony were celebrated by all with a lot of fun. Though we had a relatively brief association with Sahabhaav of around 6 months (as our father sadly passed away), they took good care of him especially during the challenging last couple of months when he was bedridden and needed oxygen and feeding tube.In this context, it’s important to note that Sahabhaav is well equipped to handle basic nursing needs without hospitalization. We would highly recommend Sahabhaav to anyone looking for a kind, loving, caring and at the same time well-equipped place run by an extremely competent and dedicated team. Dear Mini, Neelam, Jasleen, Amee, and ALL the other staff at Sahabhaav, Our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to you and all at Sahabhaav for taking such great care of our Mom during her last years. She had lived alone in her apartment in Mumbai with in-home care that she had to manage herself which became difficult for her with age. Moving her to Sahabhaav transformed her life into a full-service, loving, respectful care in all aspects, including interaction and community with the other residents. When Mom moved to Sahabhaav, she was unable to walk. Within days with the help of physiotherapy, Mom started walking. This was a very happy turn of events for Mom and everyone. Mom received attentive personal care, medical care, great food, festival celebrations - Ganapathi, Gokulashtami, Navratri, Deepavali, Christmas, and New Years. There was play, exercise, outings, fashion shows, make-overs, hair braiding and styling, spa treatments, yoga, singing and much more. These activities gave Mom the gift of touch and hugs that are so important for elders and the opportunity to participate in fun activities, feel special, and show their talents even in old age. When one of us wanted to talk to Mom, we texted Sahabhaav requesting a Whatsapp connection with her. This gave Mom a feeling of being connected to us across national borders. The staff at Sahabhaav always demonstrated genuine, caring service for Mom and the other elder residents. We thank all at Sahabhaav for doing this great service. May we all be blessed with such great fortune when we reach that stage in life. Please pass on the legacy and training to future generations to keep this noble service going forward. Elder care is challenging work and it is a genuine calling in life. The people who do this work are exceptional souls on earth. Our Mom lived at Sahabhaav from Aug 2021 to May 2024.
