Dr Vaidyanathan studied both MBBS and MD from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital (popularly known as Sion Hospital) from 1981 to 1990. Was briefly lecturer at Nair Hospital before starting his practice. For the first 15 years practicing in Subash Nagar Chembur and currently in Coral Classic building, 20th Road for the last 18 years.

When my son was an infant I used to always visit him for any small queries n smilingly he had always answered and treated my son accordingly with love and affection. My son called him chocolate doctor bcoz in the end he used to give him a chocolate candy always. Today my son is 21 and I still don't forget to thank him for treating my son with love when he was sick.
