SUNNY DEOL

Sunny Deol, born Ajay Singh Deol on 19 October 1957, is the eldest son of Bollywood legend Dharmendra. He built an enduring career as Hindi cinema's quintessential action hero, debuting with Betaab (1983).

Educated in Mumbai at Sacred Heart Boys High School and Podar College, Sunny later studied theatre in Birmingham before returning to Mumbai's Juhu, where his bungalow Sunny Villa sits in the celebrated Juhu Scheme.

Sunny is best known for the patriotic blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) and its 2023 sequel Gadar 2, and also served as a Member of Parliament for Gurdaspur, Punjab, from 2019 to 2024.
