Had a great experience at The Veg Treat Express. The food was fresh, tasty, and served quickly. I really liked the variety of options available, from Chinese and North Indian to South Indian dishes. Everything was well-prepared and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, and the overall service was excellent. A perfect place to enjoy a delicious vegetarian meal with family and friends. Highly recommended

I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience honestly left me so disappointed that I had to say something. I visited Veg Treat Express expecting decent, reliable vegetarian food—especially since the place looks well-established and always seems to have a steady crowd. But what I got instead was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. “Uchi dukaan, phika pakwaan” fits this place perfectly. The food was not just below average—it was genuinely unpleasant. The taste felt off, like there was no attention to flavor or freshness. Some items tasted stale, others were overly oily, and nothing felt like it was made with care. It honestly made me question how such a big restaurant with so many customers can serve food of this quality. What made it worse was the contrast between expectations and reality. When you walk into a place that looks this busy and established, you assume a certain standard. But here, it felt like all the focus was on volume rather than quality. It didn’t feel hygienic or well-prepared, and I found myself regretting even ordering more than one dish. I genuinely don’t understand how people keep coming back unless they’ve had a very different experience than mine. Maybe this was just a bad day for them, but based on what I was served, I wouldn’t be willing to give it another chance. There are plenty of smaller places that serve much better food with more care and consistency. Sadly, this visit was a complete letdown, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying meal. Really disappointed.
