I visited him yesterday (12th May 2026) and I wanna share my experience. On call the receptionist said to come between 11am to 12:30pm so I reached there by 11am and gave my details to the receptionist. Then sat there waiting for the doctor for more than an hour. Asked receptionist at 11:50am about the doctor and when he will come, she said in sometime. Doctor came after 12pm, and when they called me inside, I said Hi as soon as a stepped in, there was awkwardness on doctor's face, he said Hi but there were no greeting or even a small smile. There is huge glass on doctor's table and the chair on which people generally sit (this felt really weird like i have some spreading illness. He asked me "what brings you here" so I started talking and he was looking at his phone and nodding. This went for 2 mins then he kept his phone aside and saw my file. Didn't bothered to read the medicines I was assigned already. After my 5 mins speaking, he said couple of sentences about chemicals in mind and how he will work on it to make me feel better, he wrote 2 medicines and mentioned that i should buy it from the medical outside as these are difficult get anywhere else. Then i was out of the cabin. Receptionist asked for 2,000rs. I paid and went to medical, he gave me the tablets and asked for my home address, i said why, he said these are sleeping pills so i need your details. (This was a complete shock for me as doctor did not mention about giving me sleeping pills). Paid at the medical, came home and called receptionist to check if the next session will be same. She said yes. So firstly he is late by more than a hour, did not apologize, and we understand that something might have came up, but isn't its his receptionist responsilibity to inform the waiting patients??? I was discharged from the hospital day before yesterday, so was very weak and it was very difficult to wait for a hour. And just on the basis of what i said for 5 mins, he wrote me medicines???? This feels so wrong, and not even informed me about what he is giving, by luck the medical guy said its sleeping pills. This whole experience was really really really worst, i paid 2000rs for just 5-10mins and zero clarity about my condition. Do better, you're a professional so people expect professionalism from you. Just bcoz you are a doctor does not mean your time has more value than us. You and your receptionist are entitled, I hope this changes, bcoz now i am more confused and scared to go to another doctor.
