I was recently introduced to The Boardgame Tavern by a friend as a fun weekend activity, and I walked in with absolutely zero knowledge of board games or social deduction games like Blood on the Clocktower. My very first experience at BGT was playing BOTC, and honestly, it was incredible. Even though I was playing alongside experienced players, the hosts, Suneet and Srushti, made the entire experience feel effortless and welcoming. They explained everything so well that I never felt out of place or overwhelmed. What could have been intimidating turned into a thoroughly enjoyable and engaging session. Since then, I genuinely look forward to attending BOTC games at the Tavern. The hosts do a fantastic job of creating a fun, inclusive, and comfortable atmosphere for everyone, regardless of experience level. After my first BOTC session, I have gone on to attend several more BOTC games, other social games, and even a Level One D&D session, each of which has been equally enjoyable. The Boardgame Tavern is truly a special place, and every visit leaves me excited for the next one. I am always looking forward to attending more BGT events and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great social gaming experience.

The Board Game Tavern hosted by the wonderful Suneet and Srushti was hands down my best decision to spend a Saturday evening! Walked into a room full of strangers, but by the end it all felt like family. The vibe was so warm, welcoming and full of energy. The game rounds were insanely fun I mean by the second round I honestly wanted to pull my hair out because we just couldn’t find the demon 😭 (in the best way possible). It was intense, hilarious and addictive all at once. Such a unique experience with amazing hosts and an even better crowd. (Already can’t wait for the next game night!) Highly recommend this to anyone looking for something different and super fun to do in the city.

Very cool place for boardgames! Had attended D&D session. Really taken efforts for you to be included in the game and have fun. Plus the hosts are really fun and interactive. The sound effects during the game gave an altogether a different vibe and experience. Definitely give it a try!!
