Starters and gravies taste fresh and are well cooked. Service is quick and the staff is polite, so you don’t have to wait much. Overall, it’s a good option for a quick meal or casual dining when you’re craving something spicy and filling.

Tried Chotu’s in Borivali for a quick Chinese fix. Had manchow soup, schezwan lollipop dry, veg schezwan fried rice and chicken Singapore noodles. Service was very quick and the quantity of both rice and noodles was quite good. Typical roadside Chinese taste. The lollipop was a bit on the chewy side but still decent. Manchow soup had a little too much vinegar and soy sauce for my liking. Veg schezwan fried rice was actually really good and something I’d definitely recommend. One thing to note is the amount of food colour used- definitely not for someone looking for healthy food. Seating is available outside in the compound with around 9 tables and another 6-7 tables inside. Considering the street-style setup, quick service and low prices, it’s value for money
