At Bawri, you will see a love story come to life. A love story panning passage of decades and longitudes of India through heirloom recipes. On the forefront of this love story is Chef Amninder Sandhu, a bawri who has set out to rekindle the romance of traditional Indian cooking through a menu that pays homage to age old recipes, and techniques that are almost long-lost, and bold, complex flavours. Allow yourself to walk down memory lane as we trigger childhood memories through our food, whilst you eat with your hands and return to tradition. Let your meal be un-hurried, much the way it was cooked, slowly, deeply, intently, in heavy-bottomed lagans, and embrace the intensity of flavours.

Speak of Modern Indian cuisine true to flavours and culture Bawri BKC, Mumbai, is the place to be ! Walking into the doors you are welcomed by a shower of rose petals. The staff are extremely courteous especially our server niaz who helped us choose the perfect dishes. Mocktails : Kajli Lemon Ice Tea and Hibiscus Cranberry Lemonade. - both mocktails extremely refreshing and a well balance of flavours.. Starters : Smoked Mutton Chops - visually pleasing, served in a wooden box that holds aaromatic smoke within. Beneath the smoke lie succulent melt in the mouth mutton pieces. Naga Prawn Kofte - perfect balance of flavours and freshness on a bed of green chutney Mains - Kaala Mutton : This was one of our favourites.. The mutton so soft and juice and gravy was just so good you would just go digging in for more. Bawri Butter chicken- sweet smokey succulent. Cant go wrong with this butter chicken. Dessert: Kesar Jalebi - creamy rabdi topped with fresh fried crispy traditional jalebi. You just want to keep having more. โจ Ratings: * Ambience: 5/5 * Food: 5/5 * Beverages : 4/5 * Desserts: 5/5 * Service: 5/5

Loved everything about Bawri! The food quality, presentation, and service were excellent. The Mango Bite and Hibiscus Cranberry Lemonade were refreshing, while the Yogurt Kebabs and Thecha Potatoes were packed with flavor. The Paneer Kurchan, Dal Makhani, Jeera Rice, and Lachha Paratha made for a wholesome meal. Finished with the delicious Bawri Jamun Dessert. A must-visit for anyone looking for great vegetarian food.

Visited this beautiful place for lunch. Ambience was super aesthetic and loved the sittings. Service wise also really great. In Mocktails, loved the Hibiscus Cranberry Lemonade. And in starters Smoked Chicken was too good, perfectly spicy and cheesy. In main course, we tried Chef Signature Final Table Paneer Kofta with Garlic Naan and Bawri Special Naan, it was a great combination and gravy was bit sweet and creamy. Chicken Goli Biryani was also great one with good quantity. Lastly in desserts must try was the angoori rabdi, freshly made jn ghee and rich creamy in taste. Overall, a very good experience.

Bawri was our family lunch place last week and it was a pleasant experience, the interiors are good and the staff took good care of us. These dishes are what we liked the most - you can definitely try them. Dhakai Chaat, Ghugni and Gutti Aloo - we wanted to try something unique and they suggested this lesser known chaat from East India. The Gutti Aloo in the center was really tasty while the ghugni was creamy and comforting. Dal Makhani with Bawri Naan - A must try from my side, the dal makhani was really top notch! The flavours were unlocked via slow cooking and it was really rich. The Bawri naan as suggested by the staff paired really well and gave it a nice garlicky spicy touch. Very good pairing and 100% recommend Bawri Jamun - We ended with this dessert as we love gulab jamun and this was just superb! I especially loved the crunchy white chocolate at the bottom and this is really heavy - so leave some space for it. My husband and daughter loved the rabdi and we packed some more for them. Very good place for family plans, if you like Indian food - you can definitely visit ๐ฏ

I went to Bawri with my sisters for dinner and it was honestly such a good time. Everything we ate was incredible! We started off with the Mango Bite and Coco Berry drinks; both were super refreshing. For the starters, the Thecha Potatoes were probably the best Iโve ever had, and the Chargrilled Broccoli was so tasty Iโd go back just for that. For the main part of the meal, the Paneer Kofta was so soft it basically melted in my mouth, especially with the Garlic and Lal Mirch Naan. We finished with Jalebi and Rabdi, which they made perfectly. Every single bite was heavenly.
