In 2018, my mother was diagnosed with cancer, and we began her treatment at various hospitals in Pune. We went through everything—surgery, chemotherapy, and the many challenges that come with such a difficult journey. Unfortunately, in 2020, despite all our efforts, the cancer returned. To make things even harder, 2020 was the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Visiting hospitals itself was extremely difficult due to restrictions, safety risks, and limited medical access.
