I had booked my appointment via District app for a women's haircut by stylist at 790 rupees, I had got a call for this appointment but they were unable to communicate anything and didn't call me back, although I could see my appointment was confirmed, so when I visited the salon for my appointment, I was directed to sit where the stylist first pointed out several “issues” with my hair and tried upselling additional services, after which he told me the total cost mentioning that my haircut is not for 790 but for 2250 rupees as only the Designer stylist was available, there was no message or any information of this sort shared to me via the district app or the salon but the receptionist was hell bent on declaring that some other person called me and confirmed that I'm okay with this price. Either i would have cancelled my appointment or rescheduled for a slot that matches the booked service availability, why would I waste my time and visit the salon to just be argued at and get no service?? Horrible experience. I have booked my haircuts directly with the salon for the 600-700 range of haircut service for years now, they always try to tell you that the junior stylist is not available and keep asking if you would be okay with a senior stylist and above starting from 1250/-. But my last experience was the worst. The man sitting at the reception didn't even try to get the full information before trying to pin the gap in information on me, worst experience, can never go back to this salon. I have informed the District app about the same, I hope they make some changes, at least don't show the junior stylist range if you don't want people to opt for them, instead of playing such cheap sales tactics. I hope I don't get a random robotic response on this.
