Dear Mr Santosh Bhagat, I am writing to formally escalate my complaint regarding the extremely poor and unacceptable laundry service provided by Euroclean during my stay at Taj Santacruz. On 22nd December, 29 pieces of clothing were collected from the hotel for laundry, ironing, and folding. Although your website advertises express service within 6 hours at double the rate, we did not request express service. We clearly requested and agreed to a 24-hour service, as we had informed your staff in advance that we would not be staying at Taj Santacruz and would be moving to another Taj property. Despite this clear communication: • The clothes were not delivered within 24 hours • Delivery to our other Taj hotel was explicitly refused, despite me speaking directly with your staff and providing the address • The service provided was neither 6-hour express nor 24-hour service • The clothes were delivered only late on 26th December, several days after collection Despite this, we were charged double the normal rate, amounting to ₹9,121, which I was compelled to pay in cash due to our early international flight the following day. To be absolutely clear: The service provided did not meet the criteria of either express or 24-hour delivery, and therefore there is no justification for charging express rates. Charging for a service that was not delivered as agreed is unacceptable. Furthermore, on 26th December, we contacted Euroclean via the website contact form to raise this issue, and no response has been received to date. This experience reflects a serious lack of service standards and accountability. I am therefore formally demanding a full refund of ₹9,121, as the service was not delivered as agreed. Please treat this matter with urgency and confirm the full refund immediately. Should this issue not be resolved promptly, I will have no option but to escalate the complaint further.
