Currently I am attached to Nanavati hospital – Vileparle, Criticare Asia hospitals in Juhu and Andheri, Gurnanak hospital – Kala Nagar, Bandra – East Upasani Superspeciality Hospital in Mulund as Consultant in Orthopaedic, Sport medicine and arthroscopy surgery . Prior to that he was working with Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital as head of Sport Medicine Programme . My Special interests are Shoulder, Knee and Hip Arthrocopy and cartilage reconstruction. Dr.Yajuvendra Gawai successfully performed double hip replacement surgery on our octogenarian mother, giving her a second chance to use her legs. We were relieved and grateful when, within just two to three days of surgery, she stood, walked, and even climbed a few stairs. During her hospital stay, Dr Gawai regularly visited and assiduously monitored her progress, while arranging for optimal post-operative care. He had patiently addressed our concerns, and his positive attitude and professional approach have truly helped in this entire experience.

In my opinion, Dr. Yajuvendra Gawai is among the top orthopaedic physicians. He treated me after I suffered a ligament tear in my left shoulder, which required two and a half hours of surgery. I'm doing great now, and my shoulder can move upward, something it couldn't do previously. The greatest sports orthopaedic physician in the area is Dr. Yajuvendra Gawai. Thank you so much Sir 🥰
