I have visited the IMAX screen for Disclosure Day on 12th...
I have visited the IMAX screen for Disclosure Day on 12th June 2026. While the screen is amazing, it is not wheelchair accessible at all. As a keen movie person and fan of the IMAX experience, I did book the middle row middle seats. However, even the aisle seats / bottom row seats / top row seats were not accessible. I had to be carried by the staff, and had to wait for a very long time after the movie to be taken back to my wheelchair. Kindly note that I had flown in from Bangalore to Mumbai to experience the movie here. However, it ended up as an exhausting experience. PVR theatres in Bangalore atleast have a hydraulic lift wheelchair that goes on staircases to support people with disabilities to sit on any seat. Mumbai PVR and especially Phoenix Lower Parel is just horrible for accessibility. I like your screen, and wish to come again. Please do something and accomodate me. Please take the necessary measure to be more inclusive in practice than just on paper!
