Baoji is a cosy spot, especially the ground floor. The artwork and decor are nice and the service is great, it’s quick and the staff is attentive. The Japanese style chicken leg caught me by surprise because it was fried with a sticky sauce coating. I would highly recommend it! The purple chicken coriander dumplings were overcooked and the wrapper didn’t hold them well, but they tasted alright It do think that a clay pot dish like the basil chicken should come with it’s own portion of rice, rather than having to order it separately

Had been there for dinner which is always good. The lady at the entrance was a bit off though. The moment we entered, she asked for our phone number and we gave it as these days many places give you invoices on the phone. But we were wrong. She gave a missed call from the restaurants phone and said next time call on this number n make a reservation. The story doesn't end here. We wanted to sit upstairs but we were told that it is closed as they have done pest control. In the next 30mins we see, other guests walking in and out of that upstairs space. Her explanation being that they were clearing the space for pest control but since the new guests walked in and downstairs was full, she had to accommodate them upstairs and changed her words about pest control.
